Quick answer
- The best Curaçao all-inclusive resorts for most couples are Sandals Royal Curaçao (couples-only, opened June 2022) and, for a splurge, Baoase Curaçao, which has an optional all-inclusive plan and a 4.8 Tripadvisor rating.
- The Curaçao Tourist Board lists nine all-inclusive properties: Baoase, Dreams, Kunuku Aqua, Mangrove Beach Corendon, The Rif at Mangrove Beach, Sandals Royal Curaçao, Sunscape, TUI BLUE (new) and Zoëtry.
- Families on a budget usually look at Mangrove Beach Corendon (water park, walkable to Willemstad) or Sunscape (next to Mambo Beach), but both score under 4 on Tripadvisor.
- Curaçao is outside the hurricane belt; no hurricane or tropical storm has made direct landfall, and rain peaks October to December.
- Bonaire has very few all-inclusives; Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire runs an all-inclusive concept, and every visitor pays a $75 entry tax plus a $40 nature fee for water activities.
- Nonstop flights reach Curaçao from Miami, Charlotte, Atlanta, New York JFK, Newark and (seasonally) Chicago.
Our verdict
Our verdict: Sandals for couples, Baoase for a splurge, Renaissance for city-and-beach
For a classic couples' all-inclusive, we would book Sandals Royal Curaçao. It has the most complete package on the island: eight restaurants, three food trucks, 13 bars, scuba for certified divers, airport transfers and tips all included, and early guest scores around 9 out of 10. Its beach is engineered and loungers go early, so manage expectations.
If money is no object, Baoase Curaçao is the island's most celebrated resort, with a 4.8 Tripadvisor rating and 2025 reader awards from Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure. All-inclusive is optional there, which suits people who want to eat out in Willemstad.
For the best mix of history, location and value, the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao offers all-inclusive room types next to Rif Fort, a short walk from the Handelskade.
Families have fewer good options. Mangrove Beach Corendon has the water park and the location; Sunscape has the reef and Mambo Beach. We would book either only with eyes open about dated rooms, and we would skip Dreams Curaçao unless it is heavily discounted.

Curaçao all-inclusive resorts: the full list
Curaçao's official tourism board, the Curaçao Tourist Board, lists nine all-inclusive properties as of October 2026. That is a short list compared with Aruba or Punta Cana, and quality varies widely.
| Resort | Area | Style | Tripadvisor (Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sandals Royal Curaçao | Santa Barbara, southeast | Couples-only, full all-inclusive | not yet listed on the main hotel list |
| Baoase Curaçao | East of Willemstad | Luxury villas, optional all-inclusive | 4.8 (1,148 reviews) |
| Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao | Willemstad, Rif Fort | Optional all-inclusive room types | 4.5 (3,231) |
| The Rif at Mangrove Beach | Willemstad, Otrobanda | All-inclusive, Curio by Hilton | 4.0 (1,071) |
| Mangrove Beach Corendon | Willemstad, Otrobanda | All-inclusive, water park | 3.7 (2,078) |
| Sunscape Curaçao | Mambo Beach | All-inclusive, families | 3.7 (10,342) |
| Kunuku Aqua Resort | Banda Abou, inland west | All-inclusive, water slides | 3.8 (1,062) |
| Dreams Curaçao | Piscadera Bay | All-inclusive | 3.1 (2,328) |
| Zoëtry Curaçao | Piscadera Bay | 72-suite boutique all-inclusive | not yet rated widely |
| TUI BLUE Curaçao | Willemstad area | New all-inclusive | 5.0 from only 4 reviews |
Ratings come from the Tripadvisor Curaçao hotel list. We profile the six we think most U.S. travelers will actually consider. Kunuku Aqua Resort, a 213-unit inland resort with 6 pools and 12 water slides, is an option for families with small children who do not mind a shuttle to the beach, but we could not gather enough recent guest reviews to rank it.
Not all-inclusive
The Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort, LionsDive, Avila Beach Hotel, Papagayo Beach Resort and The Kontiki are popular, but Tripadvisor does not tag them as all-inclusive. Avila offers a full-board option, per Caribbean Journal.

1Best for couples
Sandals Royal Curaçao
Santa Barbara estate, Spanish Water
$620–$1,300 per night for two · Entry room categories for 2 adults by season, from an August 2026 rate guide on All-Inclusive Guide; peak holidays cost more
Our take
Sandals Royal Curaçao is the most complete all-inclusive on the island, and the one we would book for a honeymoon. It opened in June 2022 on 44 oceanfront acres inside the 3,000-acre Santa Barbara estate, with 351 rooms and suites along Spanish Water Bay. Sandals lists eight restaurants, three food trucks and 13 bars, and the package covers top-shelf spirits, scuba for certified divers, taxes, gratuities and round-trip airport transfers, which removes most of the hidden costs you meet elsewhere on the island.
Guests on Trip.com rate it 9.0 out of 10, praising the food choice, Japanese restaurant and cleanliness. The complaints are predictable for a busy couples resort: loungers reserved at dawn, limited poolside drink service and a party vibe some found louder than expected. The beach is an engineered crescent on a sheltered inlet rather than a natural strand, and entry rooms start around $620 a night for two in autumn. Book a butler or swim-up category if you can stretch, because that is where Sandals keeps the best perks.
Skip it if You are traveling with children, or you want to walk to Willemstad's restaurants every night.

What guests say
Lots of food choices and we never had to wait
This is not something guests should have to do while on vacation.
An October 2026 guest disputed a $1,100 charge for a damaged TV and was unhappy with how the resort handled the complaint.
2Best luxury splurge
Baoase Curaçao
East of Willemstad (Steenrijk)
Our take
Baoase is the resort that wins Curaçao its luxury awards. Its own site lists 2025 honors including No. 1 resort in the Caribbean in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards and No. 1 resort hotel in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas, and the Curaçao Tourist Board cites the Travel + Leisure readers' ranking. On Tripadvisor it holds a 4.8 from more than 1,100 reviews, and Baoase says it earned a 2025 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best award.
It is small and Bali-inspired, with suites and villas, many with private pools, a private beach and even a private island to book. All-inclusive is one of several meal plans rather than a requirement, which we like: you can take the plan for lazy days and still dine in Willemstad. A May 2026 Tripadvisor reviewer loved how staff made a honeymoon special but sensed the service tilted toward the biggest spenders. Book it if budget is no issue and you want privacy over activities; skip it if you need a kids' club, nightly shows or value for money.
Skip it if You want a lively resort with shows and a kids' club, or you are watching your budget.
Our category scores
Pros
- Highest-rated resort on the island (4.8 on Tripadvisor)
- Villas and suites, many with private pools
- Optional all-inclusive plan, so you can also dine out
- Long list of 2025 reader and industry awards
Cons
- Very expensive
- Few organized activities or entertainment
- Taxi needed to reach Willemstad
- One reviewer felt top spenders got the most attention
- Accommodation
- Suites, private-pool villas and a private island
- Dining
- Culinary Beach Restaurant, Sunset Deck, private dining
- Meal plans
- Several, including an optional all-inclusive plan
- Awards
- 2025 Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice No. 1 Caribbean resort (per Baoase)
- Address
- Winterswijkstraat 2, Willemstad
What guests say
A May 2026 honeymoon guest praised staff for going out of their way to make the stay feel special.
there is a bit of a vibe that seems to cater to the guests who perhaps are spending the most money. It's subtle, but noticeable.

3Best city-and-beach combo
Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort (all-inclusive rooms)
Willemstad, next to Rif Fort
Guest ratings
Tripadvisor4.5/5 · 3,231Hotels.com8.0/10 · 1,039Checked Oct 2026; review counts in grey.
Our take
The Renaissance is our pick if you want to see Willemstad, not just a resort. It sits steps from the 19th-century Rif Fort and the Renaissance Mall, a short walk from the Queen Emma Bridge, with a private elevated beach, an infinity pool and the Wind Creek casino. Tripadvisor guests rate it 4.5 from more than 3,200 reviews, and recent reviewers describe a friendly vibe and a location that lets you walk to downtown shops and restaurants.
All-inclusive here is a room type rather than the whole resort: Costco Travel lists all-inclusive categories that add three meals a day, unlimited domestic and select international drinks, gratuities and taxes. With 237 rooms, the Nautilus restaurant, a beach club, lobby bar and a waterside grill, dining variety is modest for a week, and several reviewers say they ate mostly off-site. That is fine here, because the city is the point. The beach is small and faces the harbor entrance, so beach purists should look elsewhere.
Skip it if You want a big resort beach and lots of restaurants on site.
Our category scores
Pros
- Walk to the Handelskade, Rif Fort and downtown restaurants
- 4.5 Tripadvisor rating from more than 3,200 reviews
- All-inclusive room types include tips and taxes
- About 12 minutes from the airport
Cons
- Limited on-site restaurants for an all-inclusive
- Small beach with harbor and cruise-ship views
- Plan tied to specific room types
- City noise and cruise crowds on busy days
- Rooms
- 237 over 5 floors
- All-inclusive rooms
- 3 meals, unlimited domestic and select international drinks, tips, taxes
- Dining
- Nautilus, Infinity Beach Club, Blue Lobby Bar, 5 O'Clock Somewhere, Starbucks
- Beach and pool
- Private elevated beach and infinity pool
- From airport
- 7 miles, about 12 minutes
What guests say
June 2026 reviewers describe an open, friendly vibe and like being able to walk to downtown Willemstad's shops and restaurants.
A 2026 reviewer found the room very clean and most of the staff very friendly.
Several reviewers skipped the on-site restaurants in favor of the city, so feedback on the food is thin; one who did eat in called the restaurants very good.
4Best for families
Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao (and The Rif)
Otrobanda, Willemstad
Our take
Mangrove Beach Corendon is Curaçao's busiest all-inclusive, popular with Dutch families, and part of Hilton's Curio Collection, which means Hilton Honors points. It opened in 2020, expanded in 2022 and now has a five-star sister, The Rif at Mangrove Beach, which added 385 rooms and seven restaurants at the end of 2023 and shares the facilities. The draw for kids is the aqua park with six slides, including the King Cobra, plus four pools and a private beach, all within walking distance of Willemstad's Handelskade.
Guest scores are middling: 3.7 on Tripadvisor for Mangrove Beach and 4.0 for The Rif, with Expedia scores of 7.6 and 8 out of 10. Reviewers on Hotels.com split between those who loved the buffet and those who found the food just OK and recommend eating out for dinner, and the most common complaint is room condition, from broken fixtures to parking-lot views. We would book The Rif side for newer rooms, use the water park and walk into town for a couple of dinners.
Skip it if You want a quiet, couples-focused resort or a natural beach.
Our category scores
Pros
- Water park with six slides and four pools
- Walk to Willemstad's waterfront
- Hilton Honors points (Curio Collection)
- Newer five-star rooms at The Rif next door
Cons
- Inconsistent room condition at Mangrove Beach
- Food reviews range from amazing to just OK
- Small, man-made beach
- Busy and family-heavy in school holidays
- Opened
- 2020; expanded 2022; The Rif opened late 2023
- The Rif
- 385 rooms, seven restaurants, swim-up rooms
- Water park
- 6 slides, including the King Cobra
- Pools
- 4
- Brand
- Curio Collection by Hilton
What guests say
Some 2026 guests called the buffet amazing and enjoyed the water park and pools.
Room condition is the most common complaint, with reports of a broken toilet seat on arrival, rooms facing a parking lot and an unanswered TV repair request.
The food was OK. I would recommend definitely going out for dinner.

5Best for snorkeling on a budget
Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino
Mambo Beach / Seaquarium
Our take
Sunscape is the most-reviewed all-inclusive on Curaçao, with more than 10,000 Tripadvisor reviews, and one guest summed it up neatly: a three-star resort on a five-star beach. It has 341 rooms, 1,500 feet of beach in front of the Curaçao Underwater Park, two pools plus a kids' pool, a swim-up bar and à la carte Japanese, Italian and beach-barbecue restaurants, all next to Mambo Beach's bars and the Seaquarium.
The reef and water are the reason to come; recent reviewers rave about the snorkeling and the pool bar's mojitos. The building is the reason to hesitate: summer 2026 reviews call the property run down, and management has publicly apologized for room readiness, maintenance and dining problems. An April 2026 reviewer warned that the block nearest the Mambo Beach party venue is noisy several nights a week. With a Tripadvisor score under 4, we would only book Sunscape at a real discount, in a refurbished room away from the Mambo side.
Skip it if Room quality matters more to you than the beach, or you are a light sleeper.
Our category scores
Pros
- Beachfront in front of the underwater park, good snorkeling
- Next to Mambo Beach bars, shops and the Seaquarium
- Two pools, kids' pool and swim-up bar
- Usually one of the cheaper all-inclusives on the island
Cons
- Dated, worn rooms in recent reviews
- Noise from Mambo Beach parties in some blocks
- Tripadvisor score under 4
- Maintenance and room-readiness complaints
- Rooms
- 341 rooms and suites
- Beach
- 1,500 ft, in front of the Curaçao Underwater Park
- Dining
- Japanese, Italian and beach barbecue à la carte, plus 24-hour options
- Pools
- 2 pools and a kids' pool
- Address
- Dr. M. L. King Boulevard 78, Willemstad
What guests say
The ocean and pools were absolutely beautiful and well maintained.
its a 3 star resort on a 5 star beach.
The entire property is run down and in need of refurbishing.

6Book only on a deep discount
Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino
Piscadera Bay
Our take
On paper, Dreams Curaçao has a lot going for it: two beaches on Piscadera Bay, seven dining options including an on-site brewery, four bars, a Dreams Spa by Pevonia and a location about 15 minutes from the airport, all under Hyatt's Unlimited-Luxury plan. In practice it is the lowest-rated all-inclusive on the island, at 3.1 on Tripadvisor from more than 2,300 reviews.
Tripadvisor's own review summary says the beachfront location is the main draw while service and room condition get mixed reviews, with reports of inconsistent staff behavior and maintenance issues, and some guests feel value falls short. Older complaints include buffet hygiene, three-hour check-ins and broken fixtures, and an Expedia-group reviewer called the markups on extras excessive. We are including Dreams because it appears on every list of Curaçao all-inclusives and because World of Hyatt members may be tempted. Our advice: compare it with the Renaissance and Sandals first, read the newest reviews before you book, and only commit at a meaningful discount.
Skip it if You are paying full price; the Renaissance or Sandals is a safer bet.
Our category scores
Pros
- Two beaches on calm Piscadera Bay
- Seven dining options, including a brewery
- About 15 minutes from the airport
- World of Hyatt points
Cons
- Lowest Tripadvisor score on the island (3.1)
- Inconsistent service and maintenance in reviews
- Extras priced high, per reviewers
- Not walkable to Willemstad
- Plan
- Unlimited-Luxury all-inclusive (Hyatt Inclusive Collection)
- Dining
- 7 options, including an on-site brewery; 4 bars
- Beaches
- 2 on Piscadera Bay
- Spa
- Dreams Spa by Pevonia

What guests say
Tripadvisor's review summary says guests like the beachfront location but report inconsistent staff behavior and maintenance issues, and some feel the amenities and value fall short.
A November 2024 reviewer described a dirty buffet and bar, flies over the cold cuts and fruit, and unfriendly staff; other reviewers mention a three-hour check-in and broken bathroom fixtures.
One reviewer liked their room, while another found the resort nice but said prices for extras went beyond even typical resort markups.

Pros & cons
Curaçao for an all-inclusive trip: why go, why not
Reasons to go
- Outside the hurricane belt, with no direct hurricane landfall on record
- Excellent snorkeling and diving close to shore
- Willemstad's UNESCO-listed waterfront is walkable from several resorts
- Warm and fairly dry, with about 22 inches of rain a year
- Nonstop flights from six U.S. cities
- Bonaire's world-class shore diving is a 30-minute hop away
Reasons to think twice
- Small all-inclusive selection, and several resorts score under 4 on Tripadvisor
- Many resort beaches are man-made or small coves
- Best natural beaches are on the far west end, away from resorts
- No U.S. preclearance, unlike Aruba and Nassau
- Strong, constant trade winds
- Family options are weaker than in Aruba or Mexico
Where to stay in Curaçao: Willemstad, Piscadera, Mambo Beach or Santa Barbara
Curaçao is about 60 km long, so the area you choose decides how much you see of the island.
| Area | All-inclusive options | Pros | Cons |
|---|---|---|---|
| Willemstad (Otrobanda, Rif) | Renaissance, Mangrove Beach Corendon, The Rif | Walk to the Handelskade and Queen Emma Bridge | Man-made beaches, cruise-ship views |
| Piscadera Bay | Dreams, Zoëtry | 10–15 minutes from the airport | Fewer things to walk to |
| Mambo Beach / Seaquarium | Sunscape | Beach clubs, reef, Dolphin Academy nearby | Nightly noise from beach parties |
| East of town (Steenrijk) | Baoase | Very private | Taxi needed for everything |
| Santa Barbara / Spanish Water | Sandals Royal Curaçao | Calm bay, golf, sunsets | About 15 miles from the airport |
| Banda Abou (west) | Kunuku Aqua | Close to Grote Knip and Cas Abao beaches | Inland, shuttle to the sea |
Why Willemstad is our default
Willemstad's pastel waterfront is the island's biggest draw, and the Renaissance and Corendon resorts let you walk there for dinner. That matters on an island where many of the best restaurants and beach clubs are independent.
Beaches
Curaçao's best natural beaches, such as Grote Knip and Cas Abao, are on the quieter west end and are not attached to any all-inclusive. Most resort beaches here are sheltered coves or engineered sand, so if a classic long beach is the priority, Aruba or Turks and Caicos may suit you better.

Best all-inclusive resorts in Curaçao for couples and families
Couples and adults-only
- Sandals Royal Curaçao is the only couples-only all-inclusive on the island and our top pick for honeymooners. Its Dos Awa two-level infinity pool overlooks Spanish Water, and butler-level guests staying seven nights or more get a $250 dine-out credit and use of a MINI Cooper, according to Sandals.
- Baoase Curaçao suits couples who want privacy, villas with pools and the option to dine out.
- Zoëtry Curaçao, a 72-suite boutique resort on Piscadera Bay, is listed by the tourism board as all-inclusive, though it has few public reviews so far.
Families
- Mangrove Beach Corendon has four pools and an aqua park with six slides, per the Curaçao Tourist Board, and you can walk to Willemstad.
- Sunscape Curaçao has 341 rooms, two pools plus a kids' pool and 1,500 feet of beach next to Mambo Beach and the Seaquarium.
- Kunuku Aqua Resort has 6 pools and 12 water slides inland on the west side, per its own site, and is aimed at families with small children.
Sandals is couples-only, so families should not consider it; Beaches, the family sister brand, has no resort on Curaçao.
Best time to visit Curaçao
Curaçao is warm, dry and windy most of the year. Average highs at Hato airport run from 86°F in January to about 91°F in September, and annual rainfall is about 22.4 inches, based on 1991–2020 normals from the Meteorological Department Curaçao summarised on Wikipedia.
- February to May is the dry season, with about 0.6 to 1 inch of rain a month.
- October to January is the rainy season, peaking in November at about 5.5 inches, usually in showers rather than all-day rain.
- Winter (mid-December to April) is peak season for prices.
- May, June and September usually bring lower prices with good weather.
Hurricanes
The Curaçao Tourist Board says the island is geographically located outside the Hurricane Belt. The Meteorological Department Curaçao counts 37-plus tropical cyclones passing within 100 nautical miles between 1605 and 2024, about one every 11 years, with no direct landfall. Its most significant recent brush was Tropical Storm Bonnie on June 29, 2022, which brought 3 to 5 inches of rain and coastal flooding. That makes Curaçao a sensible choice for a late-summer or autumn trip.

What's included at Curaçao all-inclusives, and what isn't
Inclusions differ more here than at the big chain resorts of Mexico, so read the fine print.
| Resort | Included highlights | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Sandals Royal Curaçao | 8 restaurants, 3 food trucks, 13 bars, top-shelf spirits, scuba for certified divers, taxes, tips, airport transfers | Golf and spa extra; best perks need butler suites |
| Baoase | Optional all-inclusive meal plan | All-inclusive is not mandatory; price is very high |
| Renaissance Curaçao | All-inclusive room types: 3 meals, unlimited domestic and select international drinks, tips and taxes | Limited restaurants; plan is tied to room type |
| Mangrove Beach / The Rif | Buffet, themed restaurants, bars, water park | Reviewers say rooms vary; some eat out for dinner |
| Sunscape | 24-hour dining options, à la carte Japanese, Italian and beach barbecue, swim-up bar | Dated rooms in some blocks |
| Dreams | Unlimited-Luxury plan, seven dining options including a brewery | Reviewers complain of high extras pricing |
The Renaissance details come from its Costco Travel listing, which also gives 237 rooms over five floors and a 7-mile, 12-minute drive from the airport.
Tipping
Sandals includes gratuities, and the Renaissance all-inclusive room types include service gratuities and taxes. At other resorts, budget a few dollars a day for bartenders and housekeeping.
Entry rules and getting to Curaçao
Entry
U.S. citizens need a passport. Most visitors must also complete Curaçao's online Digital Immigration Card (Dicard) at dicardcuracao.com before they travel; the Curaçao Tourist Board links to it from its FAQ.
Flights
Curaçao International Airport (CUR) has nonstop service from Charlotte, Miami and seasonal Chicago O'Hare on American, Atlanta on Delta, New York JFK on JetBlue and Newark on United, according to the airport's Wikipedia airline table. There is no U.S. preclearance on Curaçao, unlike Aruba, so you clear U.S. Customs when you land at home.
Transfers
Most resorts are close: the Renaissance is about 12 minutes from the airport, Zoëtry about 10, Dreams about 15 and Kunuku about 10. Sandals Royal Curaçao is about 15 miles away on the southeast side, and Sandals includes round-trip transfers.

Bonaire all-inclusive resorts: what actually exists
Bonaire, 30 minutes by air east of Curaçao, is one of the world's great shore-diving islands, but it has almost no classic all-inclusive resorts. Most visitors rent apartments or dive resorts and eat out in Kralendijk.
- Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire is the clearest all-inclusive option. The Bonaire tourism board says it has 276 accommodations and an extensive all-inclusive concept, and the resort's site lists the Momento live-cooking restaurant, three pools, a private beach and marina and the PADI five-star Toucan Diving school, within walking distance of Kralendijk.
- Divi Flamingo Beach Resort has three restaurants, a casino and a PADI five-star dive center near the airport, but its tourism listing does not mention an all-inclusive plan, so ask Divi before booking.
- Delfins Beach Resort has 148 apartments and 13 villas and the Brass Boer restaurant; its listing describes no all-inclusive plan.
- Harbour Village Beach Club is a luxury hotel with the island's only private beach, sold without an all-inclusive plan.
Bonaire fees
Every visitor pays Bonaire's $75 visitor entry tax per person, per visit, in force since July 1, 2022, per the Bonaire government. Divers and snorkelers also pay the $40 STINAPA Nature Fee, which replaced the former $45 scuba and $25 other-activity fees. Nonstop U.S. flights to Bonaire (BON) run from Miami, Atlanta, Houston and Newark.

How much a Curaçao all-inclusive costs
Curaçao all-inclusive prices span a huge range because the island mixes a couples-only luxury brand with older mid-range resorts.
- Sandals Royal Curaçao entry categories ran roughly $620 to $800 a night for two from August to November, $700 to $950 from May to July and $850 to $1,300 from December to April in a third-party rate guide from August 2026, with butler bungalows at about $1,400 to $2,600. Treat those as ballpark figures: Sandals prices change daily with promotions, so get a live quote for your dates from Sandals before comparing.
- Baoase is the island's most expensive stay, and all-inclusive is an add-on.
- Mangrove Beach Corendon, Sunscape and Kunuku are the budget end of the market, usually well below Sandals.
Is all-inclusive worth it on Curaçao?
It is worth it at Sandals, where so much is bundled, and at the family resorts if you plan to stay put. It is less compelling in Willemstad, where the Renaissance and Corendon resorts are a short walk from restaurants and bars. Several reviewers at Mangrove Beach recommend going out for dinner at least some nights.

Community
What travel-forum regulars say
Travel-forum consensus
Curaçao has a small all-inclusive scene, and traveler forums reflect that. Instead of debating which all-inclusive is best, regulars on boards such as Fodor's Travel Talk often recommend a hybrid: an apartment-style resort with a kitchen, breakfast and lunch at home, a rental car and dinners out in Willemstad or at the west-end beach restaurants. When all-inclusives do come up, Sandals Royal Curaçao is treated as the couples' option and the family resorts draw mixed comments, with Sunscape praised for its beach and reef but criticized for dated rooms and service. European guest-review sites, where many Curaçao all-inclusive guests come from, echo that split. This summary draws on the Fodor's Travel Talk thread and the Polish guest reviews on Wakacje.pl linked below rather than on Reddit, so treat it as forum and guest-community consensus.
In a thread on where to stay in Curaçao, one poster described staying at a resort with a full kitchen and a free grocery shuttle, cooking breakfast and lunch and eating dinner out, instead of paying for every meal.
A Polish guest at Sunscape Curaçao complained that the offer did not match reality and that, after a complaint about a massage, staff asked them to sign a waiver of compensation claims.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does Curaçao have all-inclusive resorts?
Yes, but not many. The Curaçao Tourist Board lists nine all-inclusive properties: Baoase, Dreams, Kunuku Aqua, Mangrove Beach Corendon, The Rif at Mangrove Beach, Sandals Royal Curaçao, Sunscape, TUI BLUE and Zoëtry. The Renaissance Wind Creek also sells all-inclusive room types. Quality varies: Baoase scores 4.8 on Tripadvisor, while Dreams scores 3.1, so check recent reviews before you book.
What is the best all-inclusive resort in Curaçao?
For couples, we think Sandals Royal Curaçao is the best all-inclusive, because its package includes eight restaurants, 13 bars, scuba for certified divers, tips, taxes and airport transfers. Baoase Curaçao is the most luxurious and best-reviewed resort on the island, but all-inclusive is optional there and prices are high. The Renaissance is the best value if you want to explore Willemstad.
Is there an adults-only all-inclusive in Curaçao?
Sandals Royal Curaçao is the island's couples-only all-inclusive, and it is the clearest adults-only choice. Baoase and Zoëtry are quiet and couple-friendly but not marketed as strictly adults-only. If you want an adults-only resort with a long natural beach, Aruba's Riu Palace Antillas, JOIA and Secrets Baby Beach are a short flight away.
Is Curaçao good for families on an all-inclusive?
It can be, but choose carefully. Mangrove Beach Corendon has a water park with six slides and four pools near Willemstad, Sunscape has a long beach next to Mambo Beach and the Seaquarium, and Kunuku Aqua has 12 water slides inland on the west side. All three score under 4 on Tripadvisor, so book renovated rooms and read recent reviews.
Is Curaçao in the hurricane belt?
No. The Curaçao Tourist Board says the island lies outside the hurricane belt. The Meteorological Department Curaçao records no direct landfall by a hurricane or tropical storm, though storms pass within 100 nautical miles about once every 11 years. Tropical Storm Bonnie in June 2022 brought heavy rain and some flooding. The rainiest months are October through December.
Are there all-inclusive resorts on Bonaire?
Very few. Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire is the clearest all-inclusive option, with 276 accommodations, three pools, a private beach and its own PADI five-star dive school near Kralendijk. Most Bonaire visitors stay at dive resorts or apartments, such as Divi Flamingo, Delfins or Buddy Dive, and eat out. Every visitor pays a $75 entry tax, and divers and snorkelers also pay a $40 nature fee.
How much does an all-inclusive in Curaçao cost?
Budget all-inclusives such as Mangrove Beach Corendon and Sunscape are usually well below $500 a night for two outside peak weeks. Sandals Royal Curaçao entry rooms run roughly $620 to $1,300 a night for two depending on season, with butler bungalows from about $1,400. Baoase is the most expensive stay on the island. Prices peak from mid-December to April.
Do I need anything special to enter Curaçao?
U.S. citizens need a valid passport, and most visitors must complete Curaçao's online Digital Immigration Card (Dicard) before travel, which the Curaçao Tourist Board links to from its FAQ. There is no U.S. preclearance at Curaçao's airport, so you will clear U.S. Customs when you land back home.
